MHS will host the MNSOTA middle level orchestra festival. 9th grade orchestras will also perform this date. Members of 9th grade orchestras will participate in this competitive orchestra festival with other schools from across the state. Eligible groups must have students in grades 7-9. Students perform in front of an audience and 3 judges. Students receive a clinic after their performance (where a professional will work with them on their music), and will get to see 2 other schools perform. We will stop for lunch as well. Location TBD. Groups that score highly enough MAY get an opportunity to move to the Tier 2 festival, where they perform at Orchestra Hall!
